OPPORTUNITIES for Children and Teens The Festival offers many opportunities for children and teens. Complete details are included in the student application. AUTHORS (age 10 – 18) can enter the CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST
CIRCUST ARTISTS (age 10 – 18) can apply to apply to demonstrate their skills
COMPOSERS (age 10 – 18) can enter the MUSIC COMPOSITION COMPETITION and submit original, unperformed composition for any combination of voices and instruments/all styles of music, including, but not limited to:
*Lyrics must be suitable for children's audiences. CRAFTERS (age 10 – 18P can apply to exhibit Beaded, Bottles, Candles, Cards, Clay, Crochet, Cultural, Flowers, Folk, Glass, Home Decorating, Jewelry, Knitting, Nature, Ornaments, Recycling, Seashell, Sewing, Seasonal, Shadow Box, Stone, Wood – You tell us PERFORMING ARTISTS and ENSEMBLES (age 10 – 18) can apply to become part of WCC's Voices for Children Festival — three days of workshops and performances
PERFORMING ARTISTS (age 10 – 18) who can arrive early for four days of Pre-Festival Rehearsals may apply to participate in one of the Festival Ensembles:
