We must dream of a world safe for children,

We must dream ev’ry child can be free.

Free from fear and free from pain,

Free to run in the sun again.

Free to play, to dance and to sing,

Free to let their laughter ring.

 Life has blessed us and life is good to us;

Now we must share, show others we care.

In love united, no more divided,

We find ways to give,

Helping others to live their dream.

 We must care that a child can go hungry,

We must care that a child has no home;

That a child should suffer, lost or cold,

That a child should cry with no hand to hold.

For when we care, compassion can grow,

And open our hearts so we learn and know

 That love unites us and love provides for us,

Leads us to care, to find ways to share.

For life has blessed us and life is good to us;

Now we must give,

Helping others to live their dream.

 We will dream of a world safe for children,

We will dream ev’ry child can be free.

Free to sleep in peace at night,

Free to wake with joy in the light.

Free to play, to dance and to sing,

Free to let their laughter ring.

Life has blessed us and life is good to us;

Now we must share, show others we care;

For love unites us, and love will guide us
