Reston Multicultural Festival Around the Corner |

Reston’s 6th Annual Multicultural Festival takes place September 16, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., at Lake Anne Plaza. With this year’s theme as “Celebrating Diversity at It’s Best,” the Festival spotlights greater Reston’s global diversity and cultural richness. Families, friends and visitors are invited to enjoy and experience multicultural entertainment, children's and adults' activities, a global fashion show, fine art exhibit, diverse foods, arts and crafts, and cultural demonstrations. Come dressed in your own native attire and share your culture with your neighbors. Artists and entertainers include: New Tang Dynasty Minghui School, Troupe Arabesque of Transitions Yoga and Dance Studio, Sior-Og, Global Rhythms, Hui Hula O Na Mele Aloha, Slaveya with Tatiana Sarbinska, Persia Cultural House, Tobas Dinastia, SLICE, Jr. Kardelen Turkish Dance Ensemble, Gye Nyame, African Cultural Dance Company, St. Petersburg Trio, Jow Ga Shalin, Ballet Folklorico "El Pulgarcito", World Children's Choir, Traveling Players, Chado Azuma Koto Ensemble, Chado Urasenke DC Association, and the Silver Light Senior Association. The Reston Multicultural Festival is sponsored by the Reston Community Center and co-sponsored by the Reston Association, Millennium Bank, Lake Anne of Reston Condominium Association, Lake Anne Merchants & Professional Committee, TLC4Kids Children’s Center, Reston Connection, The Observer News and Backfence.com, with support from many other community organizations and businesses.
