DC area students accepted into the Festival Ensembles begin Pre-Festival weekend rehearsals

Tuesday, June 19:  

Orientation and rehearsals begin (by invitation) for music composition contest winners and performing artists accepted into the Festival Ensembles

Wednesday, June 20:  

Rehearsals for Festival Ensembles (Chorus, Dance, Drumming, and Theater)

Thursday, June 21:  

Rehearsals for Festival Ensembles (Chorus, Dance, Drumming, and Theater)

Friday, June 22:  

Rehearsals for Festival Ensembles (Chorus, Dance, Drumming, and Theater)

Orientation (by invitation - location to be announced) for all other children and teens invited to present their work at the Festival

Evening rehearsal for Festival Ensembles and all other Festival participants

Saturday, June 23:  

Exhibitions, Performances, and Workshops throughout the day and evening; 
Rehearsals for all Festival participants

Sunday, June 24:  

Exhibitions, Performances, and Workshops throughout the day and evening; 
Rehearsals for all Festival participants

Monday, June 25: 

Exhibitions, Performances, and Workshops and throughout the day; 
Final Concert

Tuesday, June 26:  

Award Ceremony and Farewell Party
